Raised by parents Jollene and Ted Powell and deeply influenced by her grandparents, Coriel and Arturo "Turre" Bodden, Gueva grew up with a strong foundation in ethics, trustworthiness, honesty, and community spirit—principles that have guided her throughout her life and career.
As the former Manager of Customer Services at CUC, Gueva brings decades of leadership experience, excelling in people management, budget oversight, and project management.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics. Her formal education is complemented by certifications from various leadership programs, equipping her with the skills to make thoughtful, people-centered decisions.
Gueva believes in prioritizing the well-being of her community and fostering trust through honest and transparent leadership. Passionate about family and community, she embodies empathy, understanding, and responsibility, striving to make a positive impact in the Cayman Islands.
