In 2021, Craig was awarded the Certificate and Badge of Honour for his outstanding contributions, particularly as one of the key negotiators in securing critical COVID-19 testing kits from Seoul, Korea. His leadership during the pandemic demonstrated his resourcefulness and unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community.
A three-time Olympian and CARIFTA medalist, Craig has made a significant impact in cycling. In 2018, he was recognized as a Pioneer in Sports at the National Heroes Day Awards for his contributions to local and international cycling. He is the first Caymanian cyclist to win gold and silver medals at the CARIFTA Games, cementing his legacy in the sport.
As past President of the Cayman Islands Cycling Association, Craig co-founded the Feed Our Future Century Ride, raising funds to provide meals for primary school students in need. His leadership roles extend to the Cayman Islands National Museum and the Cayman Islands National Olympic Committee.
Craig is committed to advocating for economic empowerment, social advancement, and the preservation of Caymanian heritage. He believes in putting Caymanians first, ensuring opportunities for growth and prosperity are accessible to all.
Craig has three adult children, and they are his inspiration to serve the constituency of George Town West. He stands for unity, fairness, and prosperity for the Cayman Islands. He and his wife reside in George Town.
