An eighth-generation Caymanian, Jordan Rivers is a passionate advocate for sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and social justice.
Connect with Jordan
With deep roots in the tourism industry, he has dedicated his career to showcasing the beauty of the Cayman Islands while championing responsible development that preserves the nation’s heritage for future generations.
Jordan’s journey began as a tour guide with his family’s business, Spirit of the West, where he developed a profound appreciation for Cayman’s natural environment.
His work along the pristine shores of Barkers Beach and his hands-on involvement in conservation efforts have shaped his commitment to balancing economic growth with environmental responsibility. Notably, during his tenure with the Cayman Islands National Trust Council from 2023 to 2024, Jordan played a pivotal role in advocating for policies that protect the islands’ unique ecosystems and promote sustainable practices within the community.
Beyond tourism, Jordan has been a steadfast voice for political and social change. Raised in a politically engaged family, he has been actively involved in elections from a young age—working on campaigns, speaking on platforms, and contributing to key policy discussions. His deep understanding of Cayman’s political landscape, combined with his ability to connect with people across all generations, has earned him a strong and growing support base.
A former Cadet Corps Corporal, Jordan’s leadership is guided by integrity, discipline, and service to his community. His engagement with local media, public forums, and grassroots movements has further solidified his reputation as a bold and articulate advocate for progress.
Now stepping forward as a candidate for West Bay North, Jordan is committed to ensuring a brighter, more inclusive future for Caymanians. With a vision rooted in opportunity, sustainability, and generational unity, he stands ready to be the change Cayman needs.
