Monday, March 3, 2025 – On this pivotal Nomination Day, the Cayman Islands National Party (CINP) proudly announces its official slate of candidates for the 2025 general election. Dan Scott, Leader of the Cayman Islands National Party and candidate for Cayman Brac East, emphasised the Party’s commitment to real change, stating: “The Cayman Islands stands at a crossroads. We can continue down a path where a select few dictate the future of the many, or we can take control of our destiny and forge a new way forward – one that is built on transparency, opportunity, and unwavering dedication to the people. Our Party is committed to policies that uplift all Caymanian citizens, from creating meaningful jobs to ensuring homeownership is not just a dream but a reality. This election represents a turning point, not just for our government, but for the very fabric of what is Cayman society. It is time to restore faith in leadership, to act decisively, and to deliver results that matter. I am honoured to lead a team that is ready to build a Cayman Islands where every citizen, young and old, can thrive and succeed.”

CINP’s vision is centred on economic growth, affordable housing, education, and environmental sustainability. Anthony Ritch, Secretary General of the Cayman Islands National Party, stressed the importance of leadership that prioritises these issues that contribute to the well-being of all citizens:

“This election is not just another political event – it is a defining moment in our nation’s history. Caymanians are hardworking and perseverant, yet too many of us struggle with an economy that feels out of reach, a housing market that is pushing families away, and a lack of opportunities that force our brightest minds to seek futures elsewhere. We refuse to let that continue. Our Party is here to build a Cayman Islands where prosperity is not a privilege but a shared reality. We are ready to fight for better wages, more affordable housing, stronger education, and an economy that serves all Caymanians, not just the elite. The time for promises has passed – this is the time for bold action, and we are ready to deliver.”
