With 40 years of experience at EY, where he exemplified financial prudence, integrity, and strategic vision, Dan brings a deep understanding of balancing fiscal responsibility with human needs.
Born into a family with deep Caymanian roots, Dan honors a legacy of service and craftsmanship. His father, for whom the Brac’s only high school is named, instilled in him values of dedication and community care.
This heritage inspires his vision of restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity to the Caymanian people.
Dan’s commitment to service extends beyond his professional success. His work on numerous boards advocating for Cayman and its people showcases his devotion to transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. Guided by his faith in God and his community’s values, he has a profound understanding of the struggles Caymanians face, from rising costs to limited opportunities.
Dan envisions a future where every Caymanian has a strong voice, and where generations to come can thrive. His candidacy is about action, collaboration, and amplifying the community’s voice to achieve meaningful progress.

Anthony Ritch

Bio
Anthony Ritch had a long and distinguished career in one of Cayman’s largest technology companies, Cable & Wireless (Cayman Islands) Ltd. He worked for Cable & Wireless for 30 years.
With a passion for engineering, Anthony held many key or leading roles in numerous large capital projects, network development programs and transformational initiatives. He eventually moved to the commercial side of the business and served as a Vice President before becoming the General Manager (GM) of Cable & Wireless (CI) Ltd for 5 years and the nonexecutive Chairman for an additional year, from 2013-2014.
Following his retirement in 2014 Anthony co-founded 360 Holdings Ltd with primary interests in Electrical, Telecoms, Solar and small business consulting services.
Mr. Ritch holds a BTEC National Diploma in Engineering and a BSc in Management. In addition, he holds numerous certificates in telecoms engineering, management, leadership, customer service and project management.
As a community-minded individual, he has been a member of the Lions Club of Grand Cayman for over 30 years and served as President from 2008-2009 and Zone Chairman from 2022-2023. He is a past chairman of the Big Brothers & Big Sister Association, Vice President of the Telecommunications Co-Operative Credit Union, a past chairman of the University College of the Cayman Islands Board of Governors, and past Deputy Chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority.
He is married and a proud father of three and he has resided in Savannah for over 30 years.
Chelsea Rivers

Chelsea Rivers is a communications and marketing professional with more than 30 years of experience in financial services, public relations and leadership. With nearly two decades at a top-tier international law firm, she now serves as Head of Marketing Operations, bringing a wealth of expertise in communications and team leadership.
Alongside her professional career, Chelsea has devoted herself to community service and advocacy. She has served as Commissioner for the Human Rights Commission, Council Member of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, and Head of the Fundraising Committee for the Cayman Islands Cadet Corps. These roles reflect her belief in fairness, inclusivity and ensuring every Caymanian has a voice.
A long-time figure in Caymanian politics, Chelsea has managed multiple election campaigns and contributed to community councils, while also operating her successful tourism business, Spirit of the West. As a CINP Board Member, she is driven by service, accountability and community empowerment, committed to uplifting Caymanians of every generation.
Eddie Thompson

Bio
Eddie Thompson is an architect and entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in design, business development and community service. He graduated from the Cayman Islands High School in 1985 and began his career at the Public Works Architectural Department, where he put his determination to work, learning the ropes in the profession of architecture, a dream he had from the age of twelve. With guidance from his fellow Caymanian colleagues, Eddie taught himself the basics and developed a sound reputation that attracted the attention of the late William (Bill) Bissell, Managing Director of the architectural firm, OBM Ltd. where Eddie volunteered as a draftsman for the Master Ground Transportation Plan. In 1990, Eddie furthered his studies in architecture at Miami Dade College and on his return, he was promoted to Senior Architectural Technician.
Eddie founded his own architectural firm in 1995, now known as EKT Architecture Ltd. Between 1996 and 2000 Eddie further stablished his reputation for designing and developing high-end residential and commercial projects. In 2000, he became a founding member of a now well-known school, Montessori By The Sea.
Eddie credits his initial sense of community to his involvement in the Cayman Islands Boys Brigade. The community-based organization fostered discipline, respect and the importance of community service. Eddie has been an active contributor to the Cayman Islands business and civic community. He served on the Chamber of Commerce Executive Council, chaired the Business Expo, and supported the Cayman Merchants Association, the National Trust and CASE. He helped lead relief efforts for Cayman Brac after Hurricane Paloma and, in 2008 he was elected President of the Chamber of Commerce, representing members during the Cayman Islands Constitutional Talks in Grand Cayman and at Lancaster House in London.
Driven by a commitment to public service Eddie ran for office in 2009 and later joined Rotary Central where he served for seven years. Eddie continues to manage EKT Architecture Ltd. and remains committed to contributing to the growth and wellbeing of the Cayman Islands both through his profession and community service.
Haymond Rankin

A proud Caymanian, a passionate advocate for the people of Bodden Town West, and a leader dedicated to building a stronger, more prosperous Cayman Islands.
His lifelong commitment to public service and his drive to enact meaningful change make this the right time to step forward and serve his country at the highest level.
As an Attorney-at-Law, Haymond has built a reputation for integrity, leadership, and results. He made history as the youngest Acting Deputy Ombudsman in the Cayman Islands, where he led high-impact investigations, strengthened oversight mechanisms, and championed greater transparency and accountability.
Today, as Associate Director at Cayman Finance, he is at the forefront of fintech and virtual asset development—advancing policies that drive economic growth, create jobs, and reinforce Cayman’s position as a global financial leader.
Haymond’s dedication to community service is reflected in his extensive government and civic involvement. He has served as Chairman of the Pharmacy Council, a member of the Health Practice Commission, and a committee member of the Cayman Islands Cadet Corps. These roles demonstrate his steadfast commitment to improving healthcare, strengthening public institutions, and empowering the next generation.
With a wealth of experience across both the public and private sectors, Haymond Rankin is ready to bring bold, solutions-driven leadership to Bodden Town West. He is committed to fostering economic opportunity, strengthening public trust, and ensuring that the voices of his constituents are heard and valued.
Bud Johnson

A seasoned professional with extensive experience in the tourism industry.
Vassel G. Johnson Jr. (Bud Johnson) was born and raised in South Sound, Grand Cayman, and attended Cayman Prep School and Cayman Islands High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stephen’s Institute of Technology in the U.S. in 1982.
Bud began his career at the Bank of Nova Scotia, where he developed his analytical and financial management skills in both the banking and trust divisions from 1982 to 1986. He then transitioned to Atlantis Submarines, starting as a co-pilot and quickly advancing to General Manager by 1993.
Throughout his 34-year tenure, Bud demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational management, overseeing all aspects of the business, including human resources, marketing, and stakeholder relations. His ability to navigate complex challenges and drive organizational success has equipped him with the skills necessary for effective governance.
Married to Sheila in 1987, Bud has three sons: Godfrey, Julian, and Maxwell. He has been an active member of South Sound United Church and served on the Board of Governors for Cayman Prep and High School for over 15 years, including five years as Chairman. His commitment to education and stakeholder engagement has sharpened his skills in collaboration and communication.
With a deep commitment to family, faith, and community, Bud is dedicated to the long-term success of the Cayman Islands. His diverse experiences have fueled his desire to enter politics, where he aims to leverage his leadership and problem-solving skills to advocate for policies that address the pressing issues facing our community and ensure a prosperous future for the islands.
Carmen McField

Born and raised in George Town Central, Carmen is deeply rooted in the community she seeks to represent.
The youngest of eight siblings, she is the daughter of Mrs. Mavis Morris and the late Rex Morris of Spot Bay, Cayman Brac. Inspired by her grandmother, the late Mrs. Isabell “Bell Bell” McField, Carmen’s commitment to service began early in life.
Carmen attended George Town Primary and Cayman Islands High School, where she excelled academically and demonstrated leadership through sports such as netball, soccer, basketball, and track and field. These experiences instilled in her a strong sense of community and the importance of collaboration.
With over 34 years in the financial industry, Carmen has built a distinguished career, equipping herself with the skills to address the economic challenges facing her community.
Her dedication to service is evident through her involvement with the Girls’ Brigade since age seven. She founded the Prospect Community Group and co-founded two non-profits, Cayman Kind Action Committee and Be Kind Be Humble Be the Light, which support seniors, families, and youth. At Elmslie Memorial United Church, she has spearheaded programs like EATS and Vacation Bible School.
With her extensive leadership experience and commitment to her community, Carmen is a trusted advocate ready to bring positive change to George Town Central and the entire Cayman Islands.
Craig Merren, Cert. Hon., OLY

A proud seventh-generation Caymanian, decorated athlete, and dedicated advocate for the people of George Town West.
Craig’s lifelong commitment to service and community development shapes his vision for a stronger, more prosperous Cayman Islands.
In 2021, Craig was awarded the Certificate and Badge of Honour for his outstanding contributions, particularly as one of the key negotiators in securing critical COVID-19 testing kits from Seoul, Korea. His leadership during the pandemic demonstrated his resourcefulness and unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community.
A three-time Olympian and CARIFTA medalist, Craig has made a significant impact in cycling. In 2018, he was recognized as a Pioneer in Sports at the National Heroes Day Awards for his contributions to local and international cycling. He is the first Caymanian cyclist to win gold and silver medals at the CARIFTA Games, cementing his legacy in the sport.
As past President of the Cayman Islands Cycling Association, Craig co-founded the Feed Our Future Century Ride, raising funds to provide meals for primary school students in need. His leadership roles extend to the Cayman Islands National Museum and the Cayman Islands National Olympic Committee.
Craig is committed to advocating for economic empowerment, social advancement, and the preservation of Caymanian heritage. He believes in putting Caymanians first, ensuring opportunities for growth and prosperity are accessible to all.
Craig has three adult children, and they are his inspiration to serve the constituency of George Town West. He stands for unity, fairness, and prosperity for the Cayman Islands. He and his wife reside in George Town.
