His service on the boards of Water Authority – Cayman and the Cayman Islands National Attractions Authority demonstrates his commitment to sustainable development and responsible governance. Additionally, his experience on the Planning Appeals Tribunal has provided him with insights into land use and community planning.
As an active member of the Lions Club of Cayman Brac, Hon. DaCosta has been recognized as a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow for his service, reflecting his dedication to community welfare. His passion for music allows him to connect with others, contributing to worship services at various churches, including his home church, Stake Bay Baptist Church in Cayman Brac.
Hon. DaCosta shares his life with his wife, Aimée, and their two children, Simon and Eden, who inspire his dedication to serving the interests of Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, and the broader country.
